The Georgian House is all about the experience.
Each of our rooms has a unique character, there is a romantic chamber to suit
everyone:
The Georgian Dining Room
The grand first floor drawing room, much as it was 240 years ago. The magnificent
mirrored dining table seats 14 and the views from the windows stretch over to
the distant Sham Castle.
The Snug
Typically Georgian withdrawing room with cosy, deep leather sofas and a blazing
fire. Enjoy curling up in front of the widescreen TV late at night or having night-caps
and chats with your friends.
21st century kitchen
This funky space will make you smile and turn you into gourmet cooks. Fully equipped
and fun to cook in - this is why we’re always in the kitchen at parties!!
Bedrooms:
Becky Sharpe: Heroine of William Thackeray’s Vanity Fair - her room symbolises
all things regency, with its campaign furniture and bolstered beds.
Marie-Antoinette: French and sumptuous. Canopied beds and gilded mirrors
Ophelia: The tragic beauty as depicted by Waterhouse. The gothic style of this
lovely room surrounds you with the spirit of art nouveau.
Rebecca: Daphne du Mauriers’ art deco heroine - as elegant and cool as her
stunning chamber.
The Georgian Suite: Mirror image rooms with a strong contemporary feel. Choose
from the luxury king or the twin - urban chic is the style.
Attached to these is your modern wet room, upstairs a bathroom and two shower
rooms complete the accommodation.
Garden:
There is a pretty, private garden with BBQ and lounging area for your use. |
